Sunset Avenue have been writing and performing together since 2023, but their roots run deeper. Beau Ward (Vocals) began writing songs during the COVID lockdowns of 2021 as a form of self-expression. He grew up alongside the band's rhythm section, twin siblings Joshua (Bass) and Isabelle Mann (Drums), who have played together since childhood. The trio, raised just a few doors apart in Kurnell, formed a lifelong bond by the sea. In high school, they met Conor Phelan (Lead Guitar) from Bundeena, connecting over their shared love of music despite the distance.

Since the release of their debut single Change It Up, Sunset Avenue has performed on major stages like the Oxford Art Factory and Metro Theatre, supporting iconic bands including the UK’s Sea Girls and The Reytons, as well as Aussie surf rockers The Terrys. Their singles Take Another Lap and Do You Feel The Same? have amassed over 540,000 Spotify streams since 2024.

As 2025 unfolds, their latest single, Take Me Away, marks a new era, showcasing the band’s musical evolution. With their recent 400-capacity hometown headline show selling out, this year is shaping up to be monumental. Their debut EP and a headline Australian tour are set to be announced, promising an unforgettable year ahead.
